Cryoworld, in collaboration with 20K Hydrogen, has received an order for a prototype liquid hydrogen fuel tank for integration into NLR’s Pipistrel Velis Electro. Cryoworld is applying its expertise in liquid hydrogen storage to design, manufacture, and assist with testing of a lightweight prototype fuel tank. After successful ground validation, NLR aims to achieve its first manned liquid hydrogen flight by 2026, marking a pivotal step towards sustainable aviation.
